What a rotary tiller is? For those who still don’t know, rototillers are one of the most efficient and useful tools inside any garden. They are mainly used to break up (with their powerful metal tines) the soil and get it ready to cultivate. What types of rotary tillers exist on the market? There are 2 types to choose from: Front mounted and rear-mounted.

Rear mounted rotary tillers:
The rear mounted tillers have the tines behind the wheels. This type of tiller works smoothly and vibrate much less than other types. They usually allow the operator to make speed adjustments from insight controls. Read-mounted rototillers may run at different speeds for different types of jobs.
Front mounted rotary tillers
Instead of having tines behind the wheel, these type of tillers have them in the front of the wheels. A front-mounted rototiller starts its engine as a lawn mower does. They are gas-powered power tools, that offer much more power performance. However, they need much more maintenance. Front-mounted are use to be lighter than rear mounted as well as smaller.
